for allegedly being a “public nuisance”.

The arrested man, Iain Fogerty of New Farm, was released on watchhouse bail, and is due back in court on February 4.
Mr Fogerty operates the Not Campbell Newman parody account on Twitter.
Senator Claire Moore, who was with Labor candidate Grace Grace’s team, described the police response as “just ridiculous”.
Ms
Moore said the man in the “I’m with stupid” shirt — which she said was
not associated with the ALP campaign — inserted himself among the LNP
campaigners much to the amusement of onlookers.
Before long three
patrol cars and a paddy wagon with an estimated 10 police officers
arrived to arrest Mr Fogerty on the basis of having received two
complaints.
“It was just totally over the top,” Ms Moore said.
“Rather than telling the bloke to just move on, they arrest him.”
